about

Patrizia Mattioli is an Italian musician and composer of electroacoustic music who began her career as a keyboard player and clarinetist, working in post-industrial groups and avant-garde music.
In 1989 she began to make experiments in the field of sound research as a performer and composer with Lenz Rifrazioni. She has written compositions that mark her stylistic maturity and has embarked on a path of composition research, from the dramatic theatrical score
to the experimentation of urban soundscapes, analogue improvisation and soundtracks for short animated films. In London she wrote
the score The Tower of Babel, for which she won the Paris IRCAM Competition. She currently works with the dancers, choreographer and actors Digitale Purpurea score for Live Concert/rhythm
