about

Cursor Miner (Robert Tubb) is an underground electronica producer from Selsey, England. As a child he spent hours making tapes full of stupid comedy sketches, home made sound effects and “electronic” music recorded off Ceefax. Many years later little has changed but for the technology. Signed to Lo Recordings and Uncharted Audio, his album releases include ‘Cursor Miner Requires Attention’ (2010), ‘Danceflaw’ (2006), ‘Cursor Miner Plays God’ (2004) and ‘Explosive Piece Of Mind’ (2002). His music is described as “electro Syd Barrett meets Aphex Twin meets Gary Numan with a touch of early Eno and a nod at Beck”. Cursor Miner acts as a multiverse conduit between high and low earth receiving messages, which he then encodes into music.
