Experimental noise outfit 'w.o.t?' are south londoners nina walsh & anita hurst. The pair first met up while stumbling through the infinite corridors of Sarf London's Outcast Studios.
Anita has been making music since an embryo, first experimenting with analogue tape loops, fx & her piano. She was soon led astray into the world of electronic programming, minimalist madness that she performed live in art galleries. After a stint of gigging and dabbling in tv & animation soundtracks in the late 80's She went to her first rave and the end result - extreme techno - speedcore - noisecore - doomcore - applecore!...etc. she then spent the next 7 years recording for labels Crowd Control, Outcast Clan and her own label Crapshoot.
Nina made her move into the business when she was only 16 by copping a club promotions job at FFRR/London Records from Pete Tong after meeting him at Shoom. She worked with Youth and Alex paterson at Wau, set up the techno labels Sabres of Paradise and Sabrettes with Andrew Weatherall - then she became an artist, most notably in Slab. She also worked on her own specialist 7inch label 'c-pij records and recording her extremely dark solo project.
